Hello, I just figured out that X10 version 1.5 only works with Polyglot versions 2.2.x -- both 2.3.0 (the latest, which is downloaded by the setupX10 script) and 2.1.x will cause internal errors because of incompatible APIs.
It would be nice if the prerequisites were documented completely on http://x10.sourceforge.net/x10downloads.shtml (Polyglot 2.0+ is incorrect, and LPG is missing.)
