There's a new version of the X10 spec up on the website:

We welcome your feedback. Our plan is to release the compiler for X10
1.7 in September.
X10 1.7 extends the language with many new features, including:
- redesigned Scala-like syntax
- generics
- more expressive dependent types
- type definitions
- local type inference
- first-class functions
