G'Day Tom, I've been using X11 on Yosemite for a few months and (although it very likely depends on what X11 software you're running) it seems to work fine.
My two biggest gripes are: 1. On my retina MacBook Pro, the cursors within many of the X11 windows I use are gigantic and I often find myself clicking on the wrong things or placing the I-beam insertion point on the wrong line. 2. I keep trying to resize windows anywhere along the perimeter like normal Mac windows (but it doesn't work, obviously) :-/ I'd be dead in the water at work without XQuartz etc. and I'm very thankful it's available :-). Can anyone assuage my nervousness? regards, tom lane _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
