If you use ssh -Y then ssh should automagically manage it all (assuming you 
trust the servers you are connecting to).  

One thing to check is that your system has the Xquartz added xauth entries at 
the bottom of the /etc/sshd_config and /etc/ssh_config files.  If it doesn't, 
then that may be the root of your problem as the Xserver (inside of Xquartz) 
has to be able to populate some information in the .Xauthority file (I assume 
that you have full access permissions to your home directory, the uid's are all 
correct and matching, etc).
