Dear Merle and Jeremy, Many thanks for your response. I see the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH is set to 2 directories: one is /usr/lib and the other is a directory generated during the installation of a program (AFNI). I suppose it is the latter that I need to remove? (A colleague told me that if I completely unset the DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH hell might break loose because it performs important functions for the system?) Would it be possible to advise how to do that?
Many many thanks for any help you can provide.
