No, I do not have any kext installed to my knowledge. I previously owned a late 2014 MacBook Air running macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and I was able to install and run xquartz 2.7.11 with no issues. The pro was initially set up via a MacBook Air backup, but when I went to run xquartz it would quickly open and close as if it never opened. I tried running Xfoil, but it said that xquartz was not functioning. I then deleted xquartz, avl and xfoil. Emptied the trash can. Restarted the laptop and installed fresh copies of xfoil, avl and now I am having these issues with xquartz.
