ForwardX11Timeout
Specify a timeout for untrusted X11 forwarding using the format
described in the TIME FORMATS section of sshd_config(5). X11
connections received by ssh(1) after this time will be refused. The
default is to disable untrusted X11 forwarding after twenty minutes has
elapsed.
On the Mac client I use:
$ terse ~/.ssh/config
XAuthLocation /usr/X11/bin/xauth
ForwardAgent yes
ForwardX11 yes
ForwardX11Trusted yes
ForwardX11Timeout 500h
On the virtual machine:
$ terse /etc/ssh/sshd_config | grep -E 'TCP|X11'
X11Forwarding yes
X11DisplayOffset 10
TCPKeepAlive no
