I just updated to Sequoia 15.4 on M3 and an INTEL Mac and now xterm does not 
minimize.
It looks like it's a Sequoia 15.4 + Xquartz issue.

BTW XQuartz 2.8.6 beta 2 is from June 2023, not a good sign.
