All good questions. From the terminal app, I can run xlogo, xterm, xclock successfully. One thing I do notice is that from the XQuartz menu if I try to create a new xterm, it seems like it tries to create a new window, but it’s immediately gone again. It’s only a flicker, so hard to say if that’s true. From the xterm window I can also create a new xterm.
