Hello.

sysctl kern.version is
OpenBSD 5.5-current (GENERIC.MP) #100: Sat May 10 02:42:31 MDT 2014
[email protected]:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC.MP

I'm unable to type a username in the first field. Keyboard seems to work
as I'm able to switch between fields with either Enter or Tab and to go
away to concole with Ctrl+Alt+F1. Xdm says 'login incorrect or forbidden
by policy'. Well, it should be the former because I haven't touched
the default configuration. After updating with bsd.rd, I booted, ran
sysmerge, and rebooted.

~/.xsession is
LC_ALL=ru_RU.KOI8-R
setxkbmap -layout us,ru -option grp:caps_toggle
cwm

/etc/kbdtype is
ru

Tried xdm with two first lines of .xsession commented out: the same.

Tried LC_ALL=ru_RU.KOI8-R startx:
it works but xterm input is non-ascii garbage, output is ok.

Tried LC_ALL=C startx:
it works but xterm input is blank, as in xdm.

Hope this helps.
