the attached patch ports to arm64 the following kernels:

              var[8x8]  25.99x   11.24           292.27
            var[16x16]  35.62x   32.49           1157.32
            var[32x32]  45.37x   107.76          4889.67
            var[64x64]  44.54x   442.14          19691.77

Ok to commit?
