Yes, John Sullivan has been playing with that. But the core team has not yet played with that.
However, it should be possible to tweak X2Go (server) to do that. Currently, the amount of time everybody on the project has, does not allow to work on that without a contracted project context. :-(

STREAMING: On machines with not so many users: yes. On machines with manifold users: probably no.
VOIP: yes (audio only), yes-no (audio+video, see STREAMING).
