Hello to all...

First of all, thank you for you answers...Small team but really supportive.

I'm a Java programmer, and I just studied C/C++ in College, so I'm new to this all environment

Linux + Perl + Python + CPP + QT programming

Anyway, I successfully managed to compile both, client and plugin.

To help, I'm using QtCreator, wich is an excellent tool. Reminds me somehow about Borland C++ IDE from the other ages. Simple and effective.

About x2go client/plugin

There are some things that I would like to understand better.

1. Is the plugin suppose to work in various browsers, line firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE Safari etc... as the documentation of QTBrowserPlugin advertise ? If it is the case, how can I achieve that ? For instance, If I extract the xpi file from the firefox plugin and replace the .so file inside, is that it ? How about Chrome ?

2. How do I compile x2goplugin in Windows to be able to make a Windows version of the plugin ?

3. As You told me, and saw from the code, the plugin needs a few libs, to compile/run. Do these libs have equivalents on windows ?

4. Is the plugin making cache on the client side as I imagine ? where is it located ????

Thank you,
Vasilica Petcu
