Dear X2Go folks,
using Debian Sid/unstable with ii pinentry-x2go 0.7.5.5-0~x2go2+squeeze~main~39~build1 i386 Qt4-based PIN or pass-phrase entry dialog for x2goclient un pinentry-x2go-gtk <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) ii x2go-keyring 2012.07.23+squeeze~main~17~build1 all GnuPG keys of all X2Go developers and the X2Go archive ii x2goagent 2:3.5.0.14-0+squeeze~main~312~build1 all X2Go agent ii x2goclient 3.99.2.2-0~x2go1+squeeze~main~240~build1 i386 X2Go Client application (Qt4) ii x2goserver 3.1.1.3-0~x2go1+squeeze~main~571~build1 i386 X2Go server daemon scripts un x2goserver-compat <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) ii x2goserver-extensions 3.1.1.3-0~x2go1+squeeze~main~571~build1 all X2Go server daemon scripts (extensions) un x2goserver-fmbindings <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) un x2goserver-home <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) un x2goserver-one <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) un x2goserver-printing <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) un x2goserver-pyhoca <keine> (keine Beschreibung vorhanden) ii x2goserver-xsession 3.1.1.3-0~x2go1+squeeze~main~571~build1 all X2Go server daemon scripts (Xsession runner) $ x2goversion x2goserver: 3.1.1.3 x2goserver-extensions: 3.1.1.3 x2goserver-xsession: 3.1.1.3 logging in to GNOME does not complete. Executing `/usr/bin/xterm` works. Also logging in locally works without problems. The symptom with the incomplete GNOME session is, that the X2Go full screen window starts up and is replaced by the Debian background image. Then the GNOME keyring password window pops up. Entering the password nothing else happens. The mouse pointer can be moved but no panel is started. `htop` also does not show any activity. $ pstree -c -l -A […] |-x2goagent |-x2gocleansessio---3*[sh] |-x2goruncommand---gnome-session-+-bluetooth-apple---{bluetooth-apple} | |-evolution-alarm---2*[{evolution-alarm}] | |-gdu-notificatio | |-gnome-fallback----2*[{gnome-fallback-}] | |-gnome-panel---2*[{gnome-panel}] | |-gnome-screensav---2*[{gnome-screensav}] | |-gnome-settings----2*[{gnome-settings-}] | |-gnome-sound-app---{gnome-sound-app} | |-hp-systray---hp-systray---hp-systray | |-metacity---2*[{metacity}] | |-nm-applet---{nm-applet} | |-notification-da---{notification-da} | |-polkit-gnome-au---{polkit-gnome-au} | |-system-config-p | |-tracker-miner-f---2*[{tracker-miner-f}] | |-tracker-store---6*[{tracker-store}] | |-update-notifier | |-zeitgeist-datah---{zeitgeist-datah} | `-3*[{gnome-session}] […] Closing `x2goclient` by pressing Ctrl + q removes the windows, but the processes are still listed on the server. `x2golistsessions` does not list anything though. Could you give a hint on how to debug such an issue? Thanks, Paul
