Thanks for reporting the issue to upstream KDE. Are you testing the kscreen stuff on Ubuntu or on another distro? The KDE in Ubuntu unfortunately stumbles over some Ubuntu special patches against libxfixes and libxrandr that breaks the xrandr display size detection with X2Go.
Please, if possible, test with KDE in Debian wheezy if the problem can also be observed there. If that is so, we may have an impact as I know people from Debian's KDE packaging team.
