Thanks Ulrich.

Can anybody answer this question fully? I am trying to decide whether to
use x2go when I plan to have x2go clients in the browser. Is there any way
to have the x2go client in the browser without NPAPI plugins, which are
being universally deprecated?

Also, are there any NX viewers in the browser (using HTML5 canvas and
javascript)?

Can't answer those .

AFAICS noVNC is a VNC client. guacamole supports VNC and RDP, X2Go
uses NX which is neither VNC nor RDP. So the answer is no. But adding
support to guacamole would be nice.
