No. XPointer is not part of XPath or XSLT and Xalan-C does not implement
it. Even if we did, it wouldn't help you, because Xerces-C does schema
processing, not Xalan-C

Does xalan provide the "missing" xpointer support
wich Xerces does not provide .
I was hoping to create an xml document with an
"imbedded schema" using "#xpointer(/schema) ....
