I think we can bet that Xalan1 will not be updated to _leverage_ DOM3
parsers. On the other hand, DOM3 should be as compatable with DOM2
applications as DOM2 is with DOM1 -- maybe more so -- so I would hope that
Xalan1 would run against the new DOMs/parsers with few or no changes.
