We don't know why either. We don't know what your
servlet does, what you mean by "it doesn't work",
whether you are using the Java or the C++ version
of Xalan, which version number, how you are invoking
it, or even whether you are using Xalan at all (or
just mistakenly posted to the wrong mailing list).
So most probably nobody can help you until you give
some more specific information about your problem.

windows servlet works correctly but in unix not. I don't know
