Xalan hangs if javax.xml.transform.TransformerException thrown when invoked through

I can't prove how/when this was fixed, but the Bugzilla1283 Testlet now runs 
and throws an exception, and then exits, showing that there isn't a hang 
anymore.  Presumably changes between JAXP 1.1 and recent developer releases of 
2.2 have fixed this kind of behavior.

If anyone can reproduce this kind of problem on a recent build, I'd suggest 
opening a new bug with your specific code and the stack trace (or the CTRL-C 
hung threads trace, as needed...)
