http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2291 Reading "META-INF/services/" should NOT assume default character encoding is UTF-8 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2001-10-05 08:15 ------- One further note: although we include the JAXP interfaces in our CVS tree, the files are actually part of Sun's JAXP release, so the real changes need to be made (presumably) thru their JCP process somewhere at http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp.html (Another minor point: Apache currently has two copies of the JAXP files: master ones in xml-commons that someone from Sun does unofficially maintain, and the copy in xml-xalan that we are hoping t oremove soon in favor of the xml-commons ones. And don't forget that many end- users, especially ones with JDK 1.4+, will be using the actual jaxp.jar from Sun directly, which may be yet again slightly different)
