This sounds like a question for the Netscape folks, or maybe for the
support list for your appserver, not for Xalan.  Xalan can only ensure
that the output document is correct with respect to the XSLT spec, not
that various user agents display it correctly.

Unfortunately most user agents do not strictly follow standards for
displaying xml and html files, so you will often find times when output
shows up differently on different browsers.  As much as I hate to say
it, one of the most popular browsers seems to be IE 5.5+.
