Re: built xalan-1_3 with xerces-1_7

The changes necessary to build Xalan-C++ against Xerces-C 1.7 are already
in the repository.  We're not planning on updating Xalan 1.3 -- we never
update existing distributions to be compatible with a newer release of
Xerces.

If you want to build against the latest sources, then you can do so.  If
there are additional changes necessary, you can create Bugzilla report, and
attach the CVS diffs.

I have managed to build Xalan-1_3 with Xerces-1_7 with some fixes here and
there, on RedHat7.2 with GCC 3.0.4.

samples still need some work.

How can I submit these changes?
