Chaitanya,

Xalan-C uses Xerces-C to create DOM when XML file is
given as input.
http://xml.apache.org/xalan-c/readme.html#xml4c talks
about using the specified version of xerces in that
case. But that doesnt talk about giving a non-Xerces
DOM as input right?
