I believe that we think the same but that none of us is seeing it....
 
No, I don't want the numbers to be localized.. I want them not to be. So to 
stay in the normative form.
 
But for what I saw in Xalan code, as said in my first report, the problem was 
in the atof function.
 
But, after taking another look to your patch, I see that I'm stupid..... I did 
not look your patch in it's full context...I think I understand how you correct 
it.
You change the "in file" decimal separator (the .) to the locale one so the 
atof is able to convert the number.
 
 
I knew that I work too hard and need to sleep but..I now have a proof of it.
 
I'll do my best to find time tomorow to test your code..I have to find that 
time, just to alow you to forgive my stupid mistake....
 
I'll contact you tomorow, probably closing this bug...
