When a commit message inspires you to say something in the nature of a design comment, please: 1. Post the message to xalan-dev only; leave off [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2. Quote just the part of the check-in message that "inspired" you 3. Change the subject line to summarize the actual subject (In the example at hand, that would be "When to use final" or something to that effect.)
