http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25197 "No Suitable Driver" error in xalan SQL extensions [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-02-05 19:11 ------- I am closing this bug as un-responsive from the submitter. In trying to track down the bug, I have found that the Oracle Thin Client will give back the result message "No Suitable Driver" if you can't create a connection to the Server. This behavior was only apparent in earlier versions of Xalan, 2.5.1, the SQL driver correctly supports the error mechanism and reports the real JDBC SQLException message.
