http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=30142 HTML serializer puts no space between public and system doctype Summary: HTML serializer puts no space between public and system doctype Product: XalanJ2 Version: 2.6 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: org.apache.xalan.serialize AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The HTML serializer doesn't leave a space between the public and system doctypes. This seems to be only since Xalan version 2.6 (CVS of today still has the problem). I'll attach a small standalone testapp to reproduce the problem. The output it produces is: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html> <body>hello</body> </html> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
