What will be discussed is is important because the agenda will focus on the sensitive issues of consolidation, competition and horizontal/vertical integration. All participants will have the opportunity to discuss with policy makers - and opinion formers - the steps needed to create a food supply chain that is environmentally sustainable. In addition to the industry there will be high level participationfrom Members of the European Parliament (and the Agricultural Committee) DG Trade, DG Agriculture, DG Fisheries and DG Enterprise.
