Hi, The following are the disadvantages I see :
1. It accepts only org.w3c.dom.Node. It is not possible to create the DTM from other sources (SAXSource). 2. Even in this case the DTM is created everytime. Right ? 3. In the code I had submitted, I had compiled the XPath expression and stored it in a hashtable. This way if the same XPath is evaluated multiple times, it doesn't have to be compiled everytime. In fact this is one of the suggestions in the java doc for CachedXPathAPI. Let me know if have not understood something. -Siljan Simpson ----- Original Message ----- From: Joseph Kesselman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 20 Oct 2003 15:11:12 -0400 To: "Siljan Simpson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: Fast XpathAPI > > > > > See the CachedXPathAPI class. > -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup CareerBuilder.com has over 400,000 jobs.
