To make things clear and in case someone missed the posting from Ari
which I replied to this morning. The lists, for which I'm the maintainer,
were configured to bounce administrative requests, such as "subscribe".

xml-dev seems to get by with plenty of technical discussion :=)
It's OK for people to subscribe, look around and unsubscribe after a
short time. I know I do that... hope nobody has split mailing lists
because of me :=)
