Right, tables are constructed dynamically. The process is not very
intelligent, though. Two clients connecting to the same database with
different setups will cause havoc.

No, to the second question, because we wanted something simple and easy
to implement. I think my approach is one of the simplest with at least
some query speed-up.

I hope I didn't disappoint anyone. :-)
