Just had a chance this morning to look at the file. Check this out, your file is named RINO.gpstrans.save in this case: ---------------------------------- > tail RINO.gpstrans W 086 04-SEP-00 17:30 07/09/2004 14:08:13 47.0516270 -121.0522503 W 074 08-JUL-95 16:28 07/09/2004 14:08:13 47.0545185 -121.0194469 W N3EG3 20-JUN-02 17:55 07/09/2004 14:08:13 46.1141682 -122.9384817 W 087 05-SEP-00 16:09 07/09/2004 14:08:13 47.0355231 -121.0244144 W N3EG9 20-JUN-02 17:57 07/09/2004 14:08:13 46.1519337 -122.9803670 W 088 05-SEP-00 17:57 07/09/2004 14:08:13 47.0334792 -121.0274667 W N3JGI 20-JUN-02 18:29 07/09/2004 14:08:13 48.0021644 -116.0118324 W 089 06-SEP-00 17:15 07/09/2004 14:08:13 47.0392942 -121.0296501 W N4NIV1 20-JUN-02 17:46 07/09/2004 14:08:13 45.6791675 -122.5745005 W 129 08-SEP-96 18:29 07/09/2004 14:08:13 47.0239466 -121.0090668 > cat RINO.gpstrans.save Format: DDD UTC Offset: 1.00 hrs Datum[100]: WGS 84 W APRS13 12/06/2007 11:32:37 45.7932227 -92.3827618 ---------------------------------- See the difference? Your file is missing a couple of columns compared to the file I had sitting on this machine from way back. Somewhere along the line the file format changed (probably due to a change in GPSMan) and we (Xastir project) didn't find out about it. Does anyone have time to fix this right now? If not I'll try to squeeze it in. It should be a simple tweak to Xastir's parsing to be able to handle either format of file. I can send both example files to anyone interested. I remember Jim was in a hurry to prove this concept, something about hunting for a grant and only getting the RINO units in hand for a short while for testing. -- Curt, WE7U: <www.eskimo.com/~archer/> XASTIR: <www.xastir.org> "Lotto: A tax on people who are bad at math." -- unknown "Windows: Microsoft's tax on computer illiterates." -- WE7U The world DOES revolve around me: I picked the coordinate system! _______________________________________________ Xastir-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xastir.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xastir-dev
