I installed Linux Mint 9 and everything works great. No kernel upgrades needed.
I have to say linux Mint has been alot more stable than Ubuntu. More thought seems to go into it. I'm not knocking Ubuntu it was one of the first stable versions I worked with. However Mint is my preferred OS for the past year. I had to try ubuntu 10 just because it came out. Version 9 worked with ax25 . I guess they broke something in 10 . oops. ________________________________ From: Steve Rogers <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sat, May 22, 2010 2:31:16 PM Subject: RE: [Xastir] Unbuntu 10 and ax25 I used xastir wiki :Howto Ubuntu ax.25 but didnt get far on 9.10. > Date: Sat, 22 May 2010 10:18:08 -0700 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Xastir] Unbuntu 10 and ax25 > > I just wiped out and did a fresh clean install of unbuntu 10 and installed > ax25.
