If you load the radar at 99999 and it loads all black, it will
obscure all other maps. Turn the radar image off and you should see
your other maps again.
What version of Xastir are you running? There have been various
tweaks to the radar map code and .geo file to fix the all-black
problem.

I did not receive that message. I thought that was peculiar. I hope
there isn't a problem somewhere. As for the version of xastir it is 1.8.3.
