Hi.

I deleted the xastir in my SuSE 10.2, because I want to be able to use
the cvs option, as I did a while ago.

I have some queries:

I have made the .cvsrc in my /home/user directory. I made it as root. Is
that ok ?.

Then I ran this:

cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/xastir login

and

cvs -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/xastir co -r STABLE xastir

It installed xastir. Should it be done as root ?.

Then the installation itself:

cd xastir
   cvs update
   ./bootstrap.sh
   ./configure
   (make clean;make -j3 2>&1) | tee make.log
-->> Until here I think it should be done as user ????
   sudo make install
sudo chmod 4555 /usr/local/bin/xastir (only needed if using kernel AX.25)
   xastir
