The detailed instructions for getting xastir set up on Edgy are on the Xastir wiki at <http://www.xastir.org/wiki/index.php/HowTo:Ubuntu_6.10> There are some tweaks necessary to get get-maptools.sh to work properly. Specifically, there's a hack needed to fix a broken geotiff makefile issue. That hack is detailed on the wiki. > On 2/20/07, larry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > >I am in need of help on two dependences, that I can not seem to find > >under Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy... > > > >They are Geotiff & Gdal, any help would be appreciated... > > > >Thanks Larry > > > >-- > >Powered by Debian/GNU/Linux > >by Ubuntu ver 6.10 > >73 de Larry/wd9esu 31yr's A.R.O. > > > >"This is Linux Country, > >on a quiet night you can hear > >WINDOZE !
