Xastir needs to reindex it. Try stopping/restarting it and you should see it tell you that it's reindexing that file on the status line. When the reindexing is complete the search capability should be working again. I've replaced this file before while Xastir was running and I think it senses the new file and reindexes then. Either I'm mistaken, or perhaps the timestamps on your file got messed up in the download process so Xastir thinks the indexes are newer than the file. You can try "touch EN.dat" to update the timestamp on the file and try Xastir's search again. -- Curt, WE7U.
