Actually, recalling my own libdb mistake on the original Xastir-Hardy virtual machine where I mistakenly thought the newest version was 4.5, the correct package for Hardy (8.04) is libdb4.6-dev. For Intrepid (8.10), the correct one is libdb4.7-dev.
