Since than, I had a major change in the translations handling
infrastructure.
I will write a detailed forum post and wiki page on this topic soon. To say
it short, from now, you don't have to worry about pulling the fresh
language files into your github repo from time to time. It is all done for
you automatically with my sync utility. It is already done this way for Kodi
PVR repos <https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.hts/commits/Jarvis>. All I need
from you for this to happen:
- Please add github user "txtranslation
<https://github.com/txtranslation>" to your specific github repo as
collaborator. (see here
<https://help.github.com/articles/adding-collaborators-to-a-personal-repository/>
for
help)
- Please give me a link to your addon's addon.xml file, with the right
branch in it. Example: this
<https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/Jarvis/addons/skin.confluence/addon.xml>
link.
- Please give me a desired interval of getting the updates in your
github repository. Default is 5 days, but it is up to you. Please note that
in case there is a syntax problem with the source english (en_GB) string.po
file, or the addon.xml file, I will do unscheduled commits to correct the
specific problem.
- Please decide, if you need/want to have a minor version bump (in your
addon.xml file) along with a new log entry in your changelog.txt entry.
Waiting for your answer with new data and I'll hook you up to the new
system in no time,
