Hey guys! So, Chrubuntu install on an Acer C7. Lubuntu 13.10 with a 3.4.0 kernel. Got a wireless 360 pad with an adapter. I've also tried all this on 14.04 and 13.04 - same issues.
First issue is that when I run the program, I get the error: > USBController::USBController(): libusb_open() failed: LIBUSB_ERROR_ACCESS > When I run the program with sudo, that error doesn't happen. Instead, I get a big proper scary error report type of error: xboxdrv crashed with SIGSEGV in libusb_get_next_timeout() But it still runs. --debug shows: user@chrubuntu:~$ sudo xboxdrv --debug > > xboxdrv 0.8.5 - http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/xboxdrv/ > > Copyright 2008-2011 Ingo Ruhnke <[email protected]> > > Licensed under GNU GPL version 3 or later >> <http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html> > > This program comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. > > This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it under >> certain > > conditions; see the file COPYING for details. > > >> Controller: Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller (PC) > > Vendor/Product: 045e:0719 > > USB Path: 002:004 > > Wireless Port: 0 > > Controller Type: Xbox360 (wireless) > > [DEBUG] XboxdrvMain::run(): creating UInput > > [DEBUG] XboxdrvMain::run(): creating ControllerSlotConfig > > [DEBUG] UInput::create_uinput_device(): create device: 65534 > > [DEBUG] LinuxUinput::LinuxUinput(): Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) 0:0 > > The controller won't connect after this - it just flashes. However, if I reboot, then set the controller to try and connect, then sudo xboxdrv, it connects - I get a solid flash. However, the controller doesn't show in jstest-gtk, so puh. Any ideas? I've been battling this for a couple of days now, and I'm not sure what else to do. Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "xboxdrv" group.
