Hi all. I'm seeing odd behaviour on a new set up when using xboxdrv on a Raspberry PI 2 running retropie/emulationstation on Raspbian/Debian/Jessie.
Xboxdrv seems to be working properly on my Raspbian/Debian/Wheezy setup on another RPi 2 but the versions of retropie are not the same. They are both using the 0.8.8 version of xboxdrv. In any case, on the Jessie setup, when I run xboxdrv, it doesn't always connect to the controllers and sometimes it does after restarting xboxdrv and sometimes it doesn't. Here are some odd things I have noticed. dmesg - wheezy: [ 3.691281] usb 1-1.3: Product: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows [ 6.634325] input: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver as /devices/platform/soc/3f980000.usb/usb1/1-1/1-1.3/1-1.3:1.0/input/input2 [ 6.712247] input: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver as /devices/platform/soc/3f980000.usb/usb1/1-1/1-1.3/1-1.3:1.2/input/input3 [ 6.742076] input: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver as /devices/platform/soc/3f980000.usb/usb1/1-1/1-1.3/1-1.3:1.4/input/input4 [ 6.789145] input: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver as /devices/platform/soc/3f980000.usb/usb1/1-1/1-1.3/1-1.3:1.6/input/input5 dmesg - jessie: [ 4.161304] usb 1-1.2: Product: Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows [ 27.233548] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input2 [48117.696512] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input3 [48183.786350] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input4 [121951.066204] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input5 [121985.983392] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input6 [122009.608250] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input7 [122029.615547] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input8 [122080.983578] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input9 [232805.986867] input: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) as /devices/virtual/input/input10 lsusb - wheezy: Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9514 Standard Microsystems Corp.
