Dear all, I'm doing some tests with KVM in xCAT and i'm having some trouble connecting to the vm's console.
Here's what i'm doing: [root@xcat ~]# xcatclient getrvidparms kvm1 kvm1: method: kvm kvm1: textconsole: /dev/pts/0 kvm1: password: LVSRoiOlyvB5Zn9R kvm1: vidproto: vnc kvm1: server: l08 kvm1: vidport: 5900 [root@xcat ~]# And then i try to connect to that host with that password but the vncviewer tells me the password is incorrect. Any thoughts? p.s. Does xCAT keep this data in any tables? Where does getrvidparms get this info from? A co-worker told me xCAT will automatically regenerate a new password on every getrvidparms request but that's about all i know about how this works under the hood!
