Dear all,

Has anybody ever seen this error message on KVM xCAT systems?
rpower failed for vm2: Failure satisfying networking and storage
requirements on l02 for vm2

This happened while creating two vms almost simultaneously (vm1 and vm2).

vm1 succeeded, vm2 did not.

p.s. this is probably one of those errors that happens occasionally
BUT...any idea on what might have happened?
Is it possible (at least in theory) for xCAT to bump into problems
like these when creating multiple VMs on the same hypervisor almost
simultaneously?

I know that, when we try to create / power on vms, xCAT will try to
mount any necessary shares / setup the hypervisor...so i'm guessing
that, at least in theory, problems can occur if xCAT tries to do it
more then once (in parallel).
At least i know i have bumped into similar issues with xCAT vCenter
support in the past!

Thanks,
Luis
