Hi,
Im new to xcat2, I am attempting to deploy fedora14 to a load
of machines here. To get my head around xcat I orignally installed a
set of virtual machines from our cluster (as though they were
workstation, controlling the power myself). I can install perfectly to
the vms but I cant seem to get xcat to install to real hardware. On
the two types of machines I have tried to far the boot process gets to
freeing unused kernel memory and then the machine kernel panics.

I am some what at a lost of what to do next. I suspected it
maybe that the network driver was not installed so I used genimage to
install the tg3 driver in the image through the following commands.

genimage -i eth0 -n igb,e1000e,e1000,bnx2,tg3 -o fedora14
packimage -p compute -o fedora14

Has any one experianced any thing like this or could offer a pointer
