The usual genimage is to create an image that is exactly the level of the
OS on the Management Node.  There is documentation for generating images
off the MN but it requires setup.

I have some questions I thought would be obvious but can’t seem to find in
the documentation.

      1.       I know the major version of the OS has to be the same for
      generating install images but does the minor version. In other words
      can I successfully generate a CentOS 5.6 stateless image on a CentOS
      5.3 master? (And I guess I should ask if I am wrong about the major
      version as well).
      2.       How would one go about updating a stateless image’s packages
      like you would using yum on a standard install?
