One options is to rsync /etc/passwd , /etc/group and /etc/shadow to the nodes
You can build a file (filex) containing the following line: /etc/passwd /etc/group /etc/shadow -> /etc and xdcp <noderange> -F filex If you do not want the same files as on the Management Node, then fix one node and copy, the files to some other directory on the Management Node and use xdcp or prsync to send the files to the ndoes. I mean: I can edit xCat passwd table to set several passwords, and xCat will put that in nodes during deployment. But, after deploy, If a want to change passwords of root in the nodes, is it possible without reinstalling nodes? What about IPMI and blade rows in passwd table? Maybe is something that i did not fount if the documentation but I think it's something important to know.
