Dear All,
I have trouble loading the default genesis kernel, when the server needs to
the default bmcsetup. In short - I get " No such File or Directory found
error" for genesis.kernel.x86_64
This is happening with both xcat 2.8.2 and 2.8.3 versions.
The server pxe boots initially, gets its ip address and communicates
successfully with management node.
It even gets to load the xnba network file : for example :
/tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/172.18.244.0_24
So http server is able to find the above file -
/tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/172.18.244.0_24
" http://172.18.244.101/tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nets/172.18.244.0_24.... ok"
However, soon after - I get this error :
" http://172.18.244.101/tftpboot/xcat/xnba/genesis.kernel.x86_64... No such
file or directory (http://ipxe.org/2d0c613b)
Could not boot image: No such file or directory (http://ipxe.org/2d0c613b)
No more network device
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM."
It doesnt make sense to me, since it is able to find the subfolder file but
it says it is not able to find the genesis kernel file, which very well
exists.
sestatus is disabled and firewall is not running.
Thank you,
Lohit
