Howdy folks,
I don't ask the list for help often and I have a good idea of what I think
the issue may be, but I'm going to cross the T's and dot the I's just in
case.
Decided to do a fresh xCAT 2.8.3 install on a SLES 11 SP1 system
(2.6.32.54-0.3-default) and received the following error:
root@somehost:~ # zypper install xCAT

A manual install of the rpm results in a the following:
root@somehost:/some/path/xcat-2.8.3/xcat-dep # rpm -ivh
xnba-undi-1.0.3-131004.noarch.rpm

xnba-undi-1.0.3-131004.noarch

These errors are (I believe) the result of the rpm's being created with a
newer version of rpm (rpmbuild). I upgraded rpm and it's associated
supporting software as far as I could (there are no more updates available
in the supported repo), but still no dice.

rpm-devel-4.4.2.3-37.29.33.1
rpm-32bit-4.4.2.3-37.29.29.1
Can anyone comment on the version of rpm used to create the xnba-undi
noarch rpm? Any other SLES 11 SP1 users out there encounter this issue?
