Thanks for all your responses. I could not resolve the issue even after
following the suggestions, I don't want to place the host file which i
static and managing host file is very expensive.

With the permission of the client I change the local DNS name to
mydom.local to resolve the issue. However I would request xCAT development
team to help incorporate the custom DNS/DHCP configuration to be
incorporated using some table.
